Our Story
Rossella discovered her passions very early in her life, along with and the desire to give shape to her imagination and creativity. Throughout her fitness journey, she has never used exercise for aesthetic reasons but instead she followed her heart and her passions. Rossella understands what motivates her clients, and she has the ability to make workouts fun but also technical. The focus is always on improving the quality of life of her clients.
A former dancer and qualified Personal Trainer with 30 years of yoga experience, Rossella transitioned from Contemporary and Jazz Dance into Iyengar Yoga in 1994. In 2014 she discovered boxing, and found that the skills and mobility she acquired over the years as a dancer and yogi were useful in her training. She soon became fascinated with this sport and saw a thread which could connect different disciplines. She began to experiment in fusing together boxing, dancing and resistance training, creating routines backed up by great music and developed Fusion Boxing.
With over 10 years experience working in aged care and disability, Rossella understands that physical activity is one of the most important thing older adults can do for their health and her services and programs also focus on empowering clients experiencing physical decline, isolation and loss of independence.
What most inspires her is the human potential, the capacity for humans to improve themselves. She always understood the importance of reaching her full potential and this knowledge gave her motivation and meaning. In Rossella's experience, the journey towards fulfilling one's potential is never easy, making it so very easy for us to give up. Yet, becoming the best version of ourselves and developing the ability to express our inner self gives a true meaning to our existence.
Rossella's story is about never giving up on dreams and always look for what fulfils our spirit. She believes that we can all connect on a deeper level if we only we support, encourage and inspire each other. Strike Rhythm was born out of years of strict discipline, commitment, sacrifices made to maintain a dream alive, a dream where the joie de vivre never dies, but spreads widely.
